Ever since I've been a child, I've dreamt of reaching the stars. Over the years, I've tried to cultivate that passion into ambitious efforts to help build arts and entertainment communities both on and off screen:
Promotions and Publications
With a degree in Creative Writing/Journalism/English, I bring my educational training with me in all that I do. Upon moving to Pittsburgh, I made a professional shift to start Illuminated Media and freelance, delivering superior promotions and public relations to surrounding areas. Establishing and showcasing my passion for arts through public relations has resulted in solid relationships with the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, Red Hen Productions Feminist Theater and the Cleveland Entertainment Conference . Currently, I also have a part-time position with Pittsburgh Concert Chorale, using my media relations skills while assisting a great artistic organization.
Productions
From a production standpoint, I'm also building a strong background in coordination, casting and crew work. I've been a Locations Assistant for "Shelter ," a Casting Assistant for "Nashville Star" the coordinator of "We The People Fest," an extras wrangler for "The Bride and the Grooms" and the Casting Coordinator for "And The Winner Is". In this role, I coordinated the schedules 50 actors and 300+ extras while performing in a small role.
Performing
On camera, I continue to sharpen my skills and repertoire for camera work, having been in commercials, film and theater. An actress since childhood, it is my goal to build a lifetime of living in the performing arts. I have practiced the craft of comedic performance through classes at Second City, Cabaret Dada and the Beck Center for the Arts. I am currently represented by the Talent Group. I welcome opportunities to work in the movie/theater/television industry. Much the same as when I was a child, I believe in pursuing your dreams until you finally do reach the stars.
